An original hand drawn ink and charcoal bunny illustration with flowers, worked in black, white and soft grey on textured paper. She began as charcoal warm-up marks — a face kept forming in the smudged texture, so I followed it with ink instead of wiping it away. Flowers and leaves grew out of her ears, whiskers arrived on their own, and by the end she was looking past me entirely, at the small pink butterfly that escaped the frame and landed on the mat. Bunny or cat is still an open question in this studio. Matted and ready to frame. Original painting, one of a kind. Shot in natural daylight. Size: 9 x 12 in · ink and charcoal on textured paper.
